About the event

Join Haley, owner and operator of Herbal Meadows Botanicals and create 12 handcrafted lip balm tubes. Each person will weigh and measure their wax & oil. Shea butter will come pre-measured in a tin. Each participant will receive their own vessel to melt their ingredients in and pour into the lip balm tray. You can scent your lip balms with multiple essential oils for various usage.

  • Learn about lip balm herbs, making lip care at home, weighing oils, butters & local beeswax and oil infusions
  • Make twelve regular size .15oz  lip balms made with Safflower oil base, African Shea Butter & our local beeswax
  • Take home gifts for the holidays (12 lip balms is a lot!), the recipe and knowledge to make your own lip balm at home

In this workshop we will be using items that could cause allergic reactions. We are very conscious of gluten contamination as owner is GF. We will be using Safflower oil, shea butter and have access to over 20 essential oils.

Please stop in early and support our host Apoptosis Brewing Company by enjoying a Tangerine Vanilla Seltzer with a pretzel bun house made pulled pork piled high! Participants are asked not to bring outside food or drinks.

Cost is $60.00 per person and includes all materials and instruction. Advanced payment is required to reserve your space. Payment deadline is October 26th at noon. Limited seating available. A minimum of 6 participants are required for this class to take place, or full refunds will be issued. No other refunds will be granted. End time is approximate.
